About us
Empowering Healthcare in Africa
Our story
HabariDOC Digital Health Services was founded on December 16, 2022, by Dr. Akeza Teame and his wife, Mrs. Melat Abate. The inception of HabariDOC took place during the first conference of the African Telemedicine Network, held in Addis Ababa. The event was marked by significant attendance, with over 350 participants, including the Ethiopian Health Minister, Dr. Liya Tadesse, and other high-level government officials. Our platform was created with a clear mission: to enhance healthcare accessibility across Africa, particularly in remote areas, by leveraging the power of technology. This mission aligns with the broader goals of the African Telemedicine Network to improve healthcare delivery across the continent.
